Provincial Sales Tax (PST) is a retail sales tax which refers to the 7% tax applied to software, accommodation, legal services, telecommunication services, gifts of vehicles and aircraft or service to goods like computer and vehicle maintenance. Goods exempt from the PST tax include: accommodation, vehicles, boats, aircraft, liquor and manufactured buildings.
